The lounger is very reasonably priced and it’s worth every cent knowing your baby is secure when you have to put them down.

The padding inside lounger is firm enough to hold its shape and keep your baby in a comfortable position, yet is soft for thier skin.

There are several good things about this lounger. For an item only used in the first few months, it is very affordable. The fabric holds up well to being moved. The indent in the lounger keeps its shape after washing. The weight of your baby will not crush or distort the padding.

The one thing I did not like is there is no removable cover, so if you need to wash the lounger, you must wash the whole pad. A more in-depth analysis of my Boppy Newborn Lounger review is below.

Even with overwhelmingly positive reviews, there were some negative points. The most common negative view was due to the loungers non-removable covers. Some complained that having to wash the whole lounger repeatedly caused durability issues. In the worst case, this caused the filling to come out.

However, it seems that customers who washed the pad in front loaders, or a regular machine on delicate, reported no issues with this. Many of the reviews recommended putting a receiving blanket under thier baby in the lounger, just in case an accident happens.

No removable cover makes it difficult to clean up a big accident quickly. Having to wash the entire pad can be time-consuming.

Better construction may keep any damage from occurring when putting it in the wash.

Also, the Boppy Pillow is great for when your child outgrows the Boppy lounger.

Conclusion

The Boppy Newborn Lounger can give you a lot of freedom as a parent. It gives your baby a comfortable place to lay down, chill out and relax.  You have peace of mind knowing your little one is safe when you aren’t holding them.
